Dear Dancers,
Private’s lessons for wedding dances, ballroom, Latin and country, plus many more events, are available during the day, evenings and week-ends. These classes will be tailored to your specific requests, needs and level of dance. We will be happy to create a routine for your specific song/dance, such as for your wedding dance.
We will be starting a country dance group class in the next few weeks. If you or others you know are interested let us know. The dances to be taught are the Country Two Step, Country Triple Step and Country Waltz.
1801 McKinley, Sunday's from 2-3pm, group class at the madhatballroom.com dance studio. New classes are as follows:
March 15th, NO CLASS as my dance team I dance with is performing at the home game for Iowa Energy Basketball at 3pm. If anyone wants to come, I have one free ticket and may be able to get a couple more, so if you are interested first come first to get a ticket. MAY BE ABLE TO ARRANGE A PRACTICE CLASS FOR THIS DAY FOR AN HOUR OF FUN.
March 22nd, we will be reviewing the 3 dances we have completed the past few months (Single Count Swing, Foxtrot and Waltz).
March 29th, we will finish reviewing and start the Latin dance called the Merengue.
April 5th, we will finish the Merengue.
April 12th, we will start the Cowboy Cha Cha routine. This Cha Cha routine can be danced as a couple, single or line dance for couples or singles. Singles will not need a partner.
April 19th, we will finish the Cowboy Cha Cha routine. This Cha Cha can be danced to a variety of Cha Cha music (ballroom, country and more............) We will dance to a variety of music.
April 26th, we will begin the Night Club Two. It is a smooth dance and danced to a variety of music. This dance is very popular for the bride and groom wedding dance.
May 3rd, we will finish the Night Club Two.
At the beginning of each class we will review for 10 minutes, what we learned the week before. If additional review is needed we will bump the class schedule forward a week and insert a review class.

Note, the prices for our lessons are lower than the advanced/competitive master dancer’s classes.
